About the Mission Trip to Uganda

Event Description

We are going to be working along side our partner ministries in Uganda - Calvary Chapel Entebbe, Buyamba; Hope medical ministries and Calvary Bible Institute.

It will be a full trip including attending the 25 year celebration of Buyamba, working in the schools we support, helping in two medical outreaches on the islands of lake Victoria, working on the farm and CBI site, kids clubs and outreaches and church outreaches. There will be the opportunity for a safari extension to one of Ugandas safari parks. it is a life changing experience. If you have skills in construction, farming, music, childrens work, education, ministry, medical or dental, or if your a willing hand that wants to be used, you will find this trip to be very rewarding.

Important Details

As you can imagine, traveling to Uganda is costly. The cost for this trip is $2500 per person. In order to register, you will be required to put 25% down ($650). The balance will be collected on 5/1/2024. You can also choose to go on the optional Safari when you register (info below).

IMPORTANT: A yellow fever vaccination certificate is required in order to travel to Uganda, as well as, you must be in good health!

Option 1 - Mission Trip ONLY - 12 days

Leave LAX on Saturday June 1

Leave Entebbe on Tuesday, June 11 back in LAX Wednesday June 12

$2500 and includes airfare, 9 nights accommodation, all breakfasts at the guest house, on the ground travel, ministry activities, local lunches, 3 dinners.

Does NOT include - Uganda Visa ($50), dinners apart from above, other shopping.

Option 2 - Mission Trip PLUS Safari - 16 days

Leave LAX on Saturday, June 1

Leave Entebbe on Saturday, June 15 and back in LAX on Sunday, June 16

$2500, plus $750*, includes above PLUS 4 day-3 night Safari at Murchison Falls National Park, leaving on Wednesday the 12th and returning on Saturday the 15th in time for evening departure for LAX

Does not include - Uganda Visa ($50), dinners apart from above, other shopping.

(*Final cost of safari will depend upon your room choice)
